Social Distancing

COVID-19 is a danger to our community. There are residents here who are advanced in years, or who are not in the best of health. COVID-19 is especially unforgiving to those individuals.

We must care for each other. We cannot permit an outbreak.

The crisis management committee asks every person at Mirador San Jose to practice social distancing. Remain at least 1 metre (3 feet) away from other people at all times. Do not touch anyone who does not live with you. Wash your hands frequently, with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based hand rub. For complete information, please read: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/advice-for-public

This is especially important for our many volunteers on Neighbourhood Watch. We designed our Neighbourhood Watch schedules to be a community building exercise. Get to know your neighbours. It’s working well. Mirador San Jose is safer and friendlier as a result.

But always remember to keep your distance. We have people whose lives depend on it.
