The crisis management committee learned from our Neighbourhood Watch that individuals left the community for Jipijapa. Jipijapa has one confirmed case of COVID-19. There will be more.
When they return, we will insist that those individuals voluntarily isolate for 14 days. There is, of course, no way we can enforce that request. If they refuse, we will identify them by name on this site and ask people to keep their distance.
COVID-19 is not the flu. It’s not like a common cold. It attacks and damages the lungs. It is highly communicable. It mutates quickly. There is no known vaccine.
We cannot allow it to enter our community. Stay away from infection zones.
